Albany VegFest returns for 13th year ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Capital Region Vegan Network will be presenting the 13th annual Albany VegFest at the Albany Capital Center. The event will be held on October 1. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The longstanding vegan festival will offer the community a chance to explore a vast array of vegan vendors, ranging from plant-based food to eco-friendly clothing and cruelty-free beauty products. The event will also feature presentations by expert speakers throughout the day. The festival is free to attend, though there is a suggested $10 donation, with further tiered donations offering rewards such as early entry and CRVN memberships. Multiple shootings leave 1 dead, 4 injured in St. Louis City ST. LOUIS - One person is dead and four others are hurt after a series of shootings in St. Louis city in only a matter of hours. At this point, police say the shootings don’t appear to be linked even though three of them happened less than two hours apart.So far, nobody is in custody Thursday morning.The violence started with a double shooting on Osage at South Broadway in the Dutchtown neighborhood of south St. Louis. Police rushed there just before 4:15p.m. Authorities shared with FOX 2 that an 18-year-old male was shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.A 32-year-old man was also shot. He suffered what investigators called an "undescribed" gunshot wound and arrived at a nearby hospital possibly in a private vehicle. At the time, was conscious and breathing.
